World Freefall Convention A post-event wrap-up has been added to the site for the annual boogie. Check it out or see what's up for 1999. The Richmond Boogie This boogie is the second-largest in the country. Skydive Ft. Wayne shuts down over Labor Day every year so everyone can attend this great event. Check out the website to see what's up. Two caveats: When I looked, the site claimed there would be 2 Super Otters, but there was only one. The site also claims a Twin Beech 18 as a nostalgic jump plane for the boogie. The plane is really there, and I think Aerodrome Skysports uses it during the normal season, but I haven't seen it leave the ground in the two years I've been at the boogie. No complaints, though. There is no lack of great jump ships and hardly any waiting at the manifest of this excellent boogie. |

Wide Boogie Calendar Loads of events around the world are listed on this boogie calendar. Skydive World - Fallschirmspringen This site has a long list of events going on around the world- particularly in the US and Germany. This is a great site if you are planning on travelling to a German-speaking country soon and want to know where to jump. Last I checked, Boogies, Competitions and Classes are listed through December 1998. The site also lists more than 385 dropzones around the world. |
