Tandem Classes Skydive Fort Wayne now offers tandem (attached to an instructor) skydives. If you would like your first skydive to be a tandem, simply indicatethis on the Reservation Form. You can schedule your tandem for any weekday after 4 PM, or anytime on Saturday or Sunday. First Jump Class The classroom portion of our First Jump Course is held on Saturday or Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, with your first jump taking place in the afternoon following class. The class generally takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours to complete. An alternate class is available on Wednesday afternoon starting at 1 PM. Simply indicate your preferred day and time on your reservation form. For larger groups of 10 or more people we may suggest a class time to be scheduled on Friday evening at 6:30 PM. This allows us to start jumping earlier in the day on Saturday or Sunday. Custom class times?...yes, we are sometimes able to schedule a class on other days and times to accommodate difficult schedules. There is always a class minimum for three people for this to be considered. Call for details. Note: It is important that we stay on schedule, therefore please be on time for the class you select on your reservation form. You do not need confirmation from us (we will only contact you if the date you request is not available). You can download a First Jump Course Reservation Form from the website. Just fill it out and send it in with your deposit, and we will get you scheduled to make your first skydive! Experienced Instructors We have a staff of experienced, safety conscious instructors and jumpmasters on hand to make sure your first and subsequent jumps are safe and enjoyable. They share thousands of jumps and decades of jumping experience, and their dedication and desire to share their knowledge with their students makes them the best instructors in the area. The Best Equipment At Skydive Ft. Wayne, we have the best gear available for students and rental usage. All our rigs include Telesis Student containers, square Falcon 300 main parachutes, and square reserve parachutes. In addition, all rigs are equipped with Cypres automatic reserve activation systems for extra safety. The containers are built for both Static Line deployment and Rear of Leg throw out deployment.        When AJ Hudson, the DZ owner, selected his student equipment, he spared no expense to ensure that the gear would be everything he would want to learn on, and to make student and rental jumps safe and enjoyable for everyone jumping Drop Zone gear.
