Operation: Weather permitting, the Drop Zone is open from the first weekend in April until early November. We keep flying our Cessna 182s until it gets too cold (and sometimes on request during the winter). Beginning in May 2003, we will also have a Cessna Grand Caravan!

Summer hours of operation are as follows:
Wednesday: 4:00 p.m. - dark (by appointment only)
Friday: 4:00 p.m. - dark (experienced jumpers only- no students)
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - dark

We are currently open during regular summer hours.
 
Location & Facilities: Skydive Fort Wayne has grown over the past seven years and to accommodate our growth we have relocated our operation to the Tri-State Airport in Angola, Indiana. The airport in Angola is an ideal location for skydiving and the numerous lakes visible from the air in Stueben County help make this one of the most scenic skydiving centers in the midwest. The airport is only minutes from both Interstate 69 and the Indiana Toll Road, therefore easily accessible from any direction.

From Fort Wayne: Simply take I-69 north to Angola, exit onto US Highway 20, turn left and go west 2 miles to the airport.

From Michigan: Take I-69 south to Angola, exit onto US Highway 20, turn right and go west 2 miles to the airport.

From Toledo, OH : Take the Toll Road west into the edge of Indiana, exiting south on I-69 and go the short distance to US Highway 20, turn right and go west 2 miles to the airport.

From Elkhart / South Bend: Take the Toll Road east to I-69, exit south and go the short distance to US Highway 20, turn right and go west 2 miles to the airport. (alternate - US 20 can be taken directly east from Elkhart)
